STEPHANIE ACKERMANN

Hello. My name is Stephanie and I’m so excited and thrilled to be part of MyStampBOX. I live in New York with my husband, our 15 year old son, and our cute puppy. I am passionate about scrapbooking, card making and altering anything I can get my hands on. I love to create and often start something not knowing where it will lead me. I love to add Ink, stamps and sewing to much of my creations. I find my day is just not complete if I haven’t spent some time in my Studio.

You can chat with Stephanie if you email her at: stephanie_ackerman@hotmail.com

Here's a little "Congrats"-love I created just for you, Stephanie.

Good Morning Grade Sevens.......

This morning (or afternoon; I'm not really sure of the timetable yet), my daughter is presenting my blog to her classmates in her Speaker's Club class. Her assignment was to choose a website and present 5 interesting topics about the website. She chose my blog (pretty cool, considering they are so many websites to choose from). So......I'm going to be chatting to THEM today in this post.

Hey Gr. 7ers & Mrs. Taylor -

Hope you are having a fantastic day and enjoying all the fun you are having in Speaker's Club. By now, Daria has talked about some of the features that you can see here on my blog. This is a space where I can kind-of "sell my scrapbooking style" to some of the scrapbooking companies that are out there in the industry. Through this blog, I have been able to meet (well, not meet face-to-face) a ton of people and it's even landed me a few Design Team jobs. Presently, I am on 2 different design teams and I've been able to discover friends from the United States, Germany, Singapore, UK & many more countries.

So.......I wanted to share a scrapbooking layout with all of you this morning. It's one that I created a while ago (and I've probably even shared it on my blog before), but it's a good one for your class to see.

Mud:
Sorry, Adam & Daria................I just had to do it!!!!!! This photo was taken last Christmas when Daria received a chocolate mask in her stocking at her grandparents. Somehow, Daria talked Adam in trying the mask and, of course, I quickly snapped a photo of them. Sooooooo glad I did!!!!!

(hey guys........don't give Adam a hard time today about this..........it made his skin silky soft.......don't knock it 'til you try it)!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had a goofy layout of Brianna & Daria as well, but I'll have to save something for next time.

Hope you all have a great day...................and good luck on all your speeches.

moving on

So......one of my all-time favourite companies.................American Crafts............ is having a challenge this week over on their blog.
Here is the layout I created:
American Crafts supplies used: Dear Lizzy pattern paper, Dear Lizzy floral ribbon, Thickers & Remarks Accents stickers.

Go check out their blog and website to get even more inspiration and see for yourself why I LOOOOOOOOVE this company!!!!!! They have a most amazing pattern paper (which I have an addiction for) and the funnnkiest embellies EVER!!!!
p.s. I also used some mSB goodness and some fabulous Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker products on the LO as well.....................just thought I'd mention that. :)

wishing everyone a very happy Labour Day (Pre-First-Day-of-School).
yesterday we celebrated with some rocket-action at my sisters.
a huge success.

today I wonder whether the fields will be dry enough to start harvesting again.
will i be labouring today.................?
or will i be waiting for more rain......................?
we'll see.

this just in......!!!

Hey everyone!!! BIG news today over at the

blog today. The NEW DESIGN TEAM for the next term has been posted and "guess who" has been asked to resign with them?!?!?! (I'll give you a second.....it'll come to you eventually).

I am sooooooooo excited about this b/c they have thee.coolest.products.........they have thee.awesomest.design.team..........and they are some of thee.finest.people I have come to work with (really, they are so incredibly sweet & friendly & funny & goofy & personable) -- and that's pretty important to me. :)

So....I thought I would share a few layouts that I created with their fabulous stamps in my last 6 month term -- just a little "blast-from-the-past" Show & Tell.

Stay tuned for future links to the mSB website to see fabulous new products (I've seen some already & they are sooooooo on my "have-to-have-these" list) and keep checking out their blog for my new term posts, layouts & projects in the gallery. There is so much inspiration there....it's crazy!!!! I'm REALLY excited about being asked to join the team again!!!!!!
